Ridgedale Center
Ridgedale Center opened in 1974, with four department stores. They were:
* Dayton's
* Donaldson's
* JCPenney's
* Sears
History
Ridgedale Center is the final mall and part 4 of the May Co. malls in Minnesota. The first May Co. mall was Southdale Center, the oldest indoor mall in the world. Part 2 was Brookdale Center, an empty mall now. Part 3 was Rosedale Center, a pretty niced size mall, adn Part 4. Ridgedale Center. Later, the Donaldson's location at Ridgedale Center had been bought out by Carson Pirie Scott.
Ridgedale Center's department stores in 1990. They were:
* Carson Pirie Scott
* Dayton's
* JCPenney's
* Sears
Ridgedale Center had renovated a part of the mall and some of the department stores got a bit of a touch up. Carson Pirie Scott later moved out after they were bought out by a California-based company, named Mervyn's. Mervyn's was going to move to Ridgedale Center, but did not like the size of the store. Mervyn's never did move to the old Carson Pirie Scott. Instead, Dayton's had been complaining about having too little space, so in 1995. Dayton's moved into the old Carson Pirie Scott and made a Dayton's 2. The original Dayton's was named "Dayton's Womens and Children" and the new one was named "Dayton's Mens and Home."

Dayton's in 2001, a local department store with only 4 locations in Minnesota. Was bought out by Chicago-based: Marshall Field's. Marshall Field's also took up the second Dayton's as well.
Ridgedale Center's department stores in 2004. They were:
* JCPenney's
* Marshall Field's
* Sears
Since this was part 4 of the May Co. malls in Minnesota, all Dayton's were turned into Marshall Field's and all Marshall Field's were later turned into another department store that was one of the biggest chains in America.
Ridgedale Center's department stores in 2010. They were:
* JCPenney's

Ridgedale Center has closed up many popular stores and restaurants such as a Disney Store and a McDonald's, but Ridgedale Center has also been a much visited mall in Minnesota.
